Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A poly saccharide of formula (C6H10O5)n (n=3W2100), its derivative, or a substance containing thereof, esp. α-1,4-glucan, α-1,4-glucan or their derivatives, is compounded with 2-amino-4-methylphosphinobutyric acid which is effective for rice blast disease, etc. For example, amylodextrin is mixed with dextrin. 2-Amino-4-methylphosphinobutyric acid causes phytotoxity when it is sprayed on plants and left as it is under a hot and humid condition for a long period. The addition of the compound of the formula prevents the hazard.
