Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure application of a deviation enough to obtain a high-quality reproduction picture screen to the magnetic head by attaching the magnetic head provided at the center part of the semicircular piezoelectric bimorph fixed at two points to the upper cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Fixing holes 22 are provided across semicircular piezoelectric bimorph 19 along with attachment of magnetic head 21 at the circular center part. Bimorph 19 is composed by bonding piezoelectric ceramic 11 onto both surfaces of conducting plastic plate electrode 20 made of bronze or the like and also providing electrode 10 on the other surface of ceramic 11. Two units of piezoelectric bimorph 19 of such composition are attached to upper cylinder 14. Attachment surface 23 is processed so that no contact may be given between surface 23 and bimorph 19 when 19 is deviated. As a result, the effective length of bimorph 19 can be reduced down to about half of cylinder 14's radius, thus securing a sufficient deviation to obtain a high-quality reproduction picture screen to magnetic head 21 in the variable velocity reproduction.
