Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow a spring sheet to rock with respect to a flat plate member and driven plate in a device for absorbing torque variation by forming groove and projection at contact plates of the spring sheet making contact with the flat plate and driven plate. CONSTITUTION:When power is transmitted between a drive plate 10 and a drive member 40, flat plates 30a, 30b tend, for example, to relatively rotate clockwise with respect to the drive plates 50, 60 to allow the projection 71 of the spring sheet 70 to make contact with the groove (not shown) 33 of the drive plate 50 and the groove of the driven plate 60 and to allow the projection 71 of the other spring sheet 70 to make contact with the groove (not shown) of the flat plate 30a and the groove 32b of the flat member 30b to thereby urge the spring 27. Thus, the spring 27 is deflected in response to the magnitude of the transmission torque to allow the driven plates 50, 60 to relatively rotate with respect to the flat plates 30a, 30b.
