Abstract
PURPOSE: To make a reverberation time measuring unit small-size and low-cost and make is possible to display immediately a reverberation time by constituting the measuring unit by a comparatively small number of elements such as a gate circuit, a rectifier circuit, an integrating circuit, an operator and a display equipment.
CONSTITUTION: Microphone 1 outputs reverberation waveform signals corresponding to an input acoustic wave. Output signals are caused to pass from a prescribed time point through amplifier 2 by first gate circuit 3 and are rectified by rectifier circuit 4. The output of rectifier circuit 4 is integrated by integrating circuit 5 into a voltage waveform which is increased according as time elapses. The integrated output at a time point where first prescribed time T1 elapses from prescribed time point tO is taken out by second gate circuit 6, and value V1 is held by first holding circuit 8, and the integrated output at a time point where second prescribed time T2 (T2>T1) elapses from prescribed time point tO is taken out by third gate circuit 7, and value V1 is held by second holding circuit 9. Reverberation time T is expressed by expressions (1) and (2). Operator 10 operates reverberation time according to these expressions and indicates directly to display equipment 11.
