Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a miniaturized carrier end office device with no carrier current generation part required by providing carrier current generation part only at one area and supplying the necessary carrier current to other stations via different wires. CONSTITUTION:The aural signal of carrier end office unit 20 enters modulator circuit part 3 to be modulated by the carrier current sent from the carrier generation/supply circuit part 4, and is then transmitted carrier end office device 21 via transmission amplifier part 1. While the carrier current of part 4 is transmitted to device 21 through transmission line 32. This current is compensated by carrier current amplification/supply circuit part 9 to be used for demodulation of the moltiplied signal entered circuit part 8, and also supplied to modulator circuit part 10 to be used for the carrier current of the multiplied signal which is transmitted to device 20 from 21. In such way, the carrier current of one end office device is used in common to omit the carrier current generation parts of other stations, thus realizing miniaturization of the end office device which requires no circuit part 4.
