Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize consuming power of plunger solenoid and miniaturize it by connecting windings in parallel when a plunger solenoid with two windings absorbs, and in series after the adsorption.
CONSTITUTION: With a power supply switch S1 on, a charging current flows into a condenser C through resistance R1 and a base of transistor TRQ1, and, at the same time, TRQ1, Q2, Q3 are connected. Therefore, the first winding N1 and the second winding N2 of a plunger solenoid PS are connected in parallel. Next, when some time passes after the switching on of the switch S1 and the condenser C is charged, TRQ1, Q2, Q3 are all cut off, and windings N1, N2 are connected in series through a diode D. Therefore, if the capacity of the condenser C is set so that its charging is finished after the plunger absorption, it increases absorption force when absorbing, decreases when adsorbing without power loss; thus producing a power conserving and miniaturized device.
