Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain racks for high elevation rails easily at low cost, without using gas cutting process or the like, by joining the end parts of corrugated sheets which have been produced by pressing and shearing iron sheets, and securing them by crimping with pins.
CONSTITUTION: An iron sheet is pressed and sheared to form multiple corrugated sheets 2. At this time, even if the iron sheet is an end member, a short corrugated sheet 2 is formed. Two corrugated sheets 2, 2 are joined so that the end of one corrugated sheet 2 may be projecting slightly from the end of the other corrugated sheet 2, and are secured by calking a pin hole with a pin 5. The projecting part of similarly joined corrugated sheets 2', 2' is joined with the said corrugated sheet 2, 2, and the projecting part is calked with a pin 5' to secure the sheets. Thus, a rack for high elevation rail 6 of a desired length may be formed at low cost by using an end member.
