Abstract
PURPOSE: To build runner for bottom pouring ingot making by bonding and integrating the runner briks by means of the adhesive agent comprising mixing, if necessary,fillers and hardening rate controllers to compounds having respectively two or more of active hydrogen and isocyanate groups and fitting the brickes into the runner grooves.
CONSTITUTION: First, the adhesive agent comprising evenly mixing,if necessary, fillers and hardening rate controllers to a compound having two or more of active hydrogen and a compound having two or more of isocyanate groups is prepared immediate before use. Next, the adhesive agent thus prepared is coated on the bonding surfaces of runner brickes by a brush, trowel or the like and the brickes are subsequently bonded and hardened, whereby the runner brickes are firmly integrated. The runner brickes having beeen integrated to one block are fit into the runner groove of the molding board by a carrying tool and are fixed therein. In this way, the runner groove building work on the molding board of a high temperature is simplified,efficiency improved and the problems in safety and hygiene solved.
