Abstract

PURPOSE: To lock a nut instantly by a simple manipulation, by projecting the outer wall of the recess part of bolt end face to the recess part of nut upper surface by means of chisel teeth guided by a tube which fits in the hexagonal part of the nut.
CONSTITUTION: A guide tube 6 internally possessing hexagonal groove guide hole 10 which fits into the hexagonal part of nut has a hexagonal sliding body 8 which slidably fits in the inside thereof. In the lower part thereof are provided chisel teeth 9, and a hammering head 7 is provided in the upper part. When this guide tube 6 is fitted to the nut 3 and the chisel teeth 9 are fitted to the threaded end of a bolt 1 having a recess part 2, the teeth 9 comes to the position of a recess part 4 provided in the specified position in the upper surface of the hexagonal nut 3. When hammering head 7 is struck by a metal hammer, part of the outer circumference of the recess part 2 is pushed out into the recess part 4, and the projected part hits against the protruding part 5 of the nut, so that the nut may be perfectly locked.
