Abstract

PURPOSE: Maritime construction of float concrete body is continuously and effectively performed.
CONSTITUTION: Floating bodies 1,2 are positioned to allow the edge faces to be faced each other. PC or other steel wires 13a, 13b are extended through at least one pair of the upper or lower sheath holes 12a, 12b between the both floating bodies 1,2. The wires are pulled from both ends increasing wire tension to match both faces together. The bodies 1,2 are temporarily fixed, water trapped by faces is drained and mortar is pored between the faces. The PC steel wires 13 are inserted into each facing sheath holes 12, and tensioned so that both bodies 1,2 are firmly fixed.
