Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the resistance and reliability against motors by setting up the pressing section to press inter-cell connecting connectors at the separate wall with ventilating gap when jointing a cover and a container in a sealed type storage battery which uses the electrolyte whose flow is controlled. CONSTITUTION:Battery elements 2, such as positive and negative plates are housed in the main container 1 of a monoblock type container and electrolyte is retained by a separator so that its flow can be controlled. Each positive and negative plate is connected by the strap 3 and the inter-cell gap is connected by the connecting conductor 6 through the notch 5 of the main container separate wall 4. After fusing the joints 14 and 15 between the main container 1 and the container cover 7 and the joints 16 and 17 of the separate wall by heat, they are made to contact, pressed, and fixed to create storage batteries.
