Abstract

PURPOSE:To establish the radar display unit of television display type with high speed and high reliability, by demultiplying the quantized clock pulse depending on the antenna rotary angle to obtain the address signal of digital memory and performing the readout and write-in in time sharing method. CONSTITUTION:The unit provides the input buffer memory 13 tentatively storing the video signal, clock frequency demultiplier 15 sharing the quantized clock pulse corresponding to the distance and in synchronizing with the transmission trigger, in proportional to the sine and cosine of the antenna rotational angle, coordinate counter 16 counting the frequency demultiplied output and determining the orthogonal coordinate address, digital memory 21 to store the content of the input buffer every write-in instruction pulse produced immediately after the quantized clock pulse to the address determined by the counter 16, television display unit 23, synchronizing signal generating circuit to display the content of the memory 21 to the display unit 23, and circuit 24 to control the readout and write-in of the memory 21. Thus, the radar indicator of television display type can be obtained with high speed and high reliability.
