Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for high voltage is recording control voltage and make possible high-speed recording by amplifying the electrostatic images by the use of the dielectric mesh formed with conduction treated picture on one side to amplify the electrostatic image and forming electrostatic latent images on an insulation-type recording substrate. CONSTITUTION:Charging by a corona generator 24 with charging mesh is performed on a dielectric mesh 21 and the charges corresponding to recording are neutralized by a writing-corona-current pulse generator 25. Next, the corona current is applied by a corona generator 27 from the conductor treating face 23 side of the dielectric mesh 21. Then, the corona current cannot pass through the mesh portions which were not neutralized by the writing-corona-current generator 25 and the corona current passes in the neutralized portions, thus the amplified electrostatic latent images are formed on a dielectric drum 28. Thereafter, developing, transfer and fixing are accomplished by the respective devices. This eliminates the need for high voltage for control voltage or makes possible high speed recording.
