Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a multiplex cable winding apparatus, in which a plurality of cylindrical sleeves capable of being turned independently of the driving shaft are disposed concentrically around the driving shaft with suitable spacing from each other, and they are arranged to be operatively connected to the driving shaft successively from that located nearest to the driving shaft to those located outside so that they are turned with the driving shaft, whereby it is enabled to wind cable around the cylindrical sleeves in multiplex manner.
CONSTITUTION: Driving shaft 10 is supported on a frame and connected to a motor. Cylindrical sleeves 12a and 12d are disposed concentrically around shaft 10 and arranged to be rotatable independently of each other. Here, arrangement is such that sufficient spacing is left between adjacent sleeves after winding cable 2 around them. When only inner sleeve 12a is turned after disengaging stopper 13 for coupling the inner and outer sleeves 12a and 12b from outer sleeve 12b and thereby setting free from the outer sleeve 12b, cable 2 is passed through slit 15 of outer sleeve 12b and wound around inner sleeve 12a. When the cable 2 has been wound around inner sleeve 12a neatly in one layer, stopper 13 is pushed into notch 14 of outer sleeve 12b to couple the inner and the outer sleeves together. Then, shaft 10 is turned to wind cable 2 around outer sleeve 12b.
