Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a taping apparatus for continuously cutting wire or the like into uniform length, in which wire or the like is cut into uniform length by means of cutter operated in association with feed rollers, and wire elements thus cut into uniform length are delivered onto a transport drum for the purpose of their taping, while keeping their stability by means of hair brush attached around a guide surface, whereby it is enabled to improve accuracy and efficiency of the operation.
CONSTITUTION: Lead wire 8 is fed continuously at a constant speed by means of feed rollers 1, 2 and passed through a hole in fixed blade 12 which is fixed on base 11, whereafter wire 8 is cut continuously by rotary cutter 14 which is fixed on a rotary disk 13. Rotational speed of feed rollers 1, 2 is synchronized mechanically with that of rotary disk 13. Between disk 13 and transport drum 15, there is fixedly provided a guide 16 for guiding wire elements cut into uniform length, and hair brush 17 is attached along the surface of guide 16 which is extended around disk 13. Therefore, wire elements are delivered onto transport drum 15 while keeping their lateral stability by the hair brush 17, and placed thereon neatly with uniform pitches.
