Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a boot securely from being separated by providing a stopper to prevent a slide pin from being pulled out together with the boot with which the slide pin is covered when turning a caliper.
CONSTITUTION: To replace a pad 6 worn out, a caliper 4 is turned centrically at one slide pin 1 from a torque member 2, however, an end on the turning center side is turned, in this case, along a side 2a of the torque member 2. Therefore, in addition to a claw 10 provided on the end 4b of the caliper 4, a projection 11 to engage with the claw 10 when the claw 10 is turned correlatively with the caliper 4 is provided on a side 2b of the torque member 2. The slide pin 1 is thus prevented from being pulled out by a stopper 12 consisting of the claw 10 and the projection 11. Consequently a boot 3 with which the slide pin 1 is covered can be prevented from coming off, and a rusting on the pin 1 can be prevented accordingly.
