Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the double-color facsimile signal without installing the modulating circuit newly but by forming the ternary analog waveform through the waveform conversion for transmission. CONSTITUTION:The red one among the beams arrived at half mirror 4 is reflected to be led to photoelectric converter 5B to obtain picture signal b. The beams transmitted through mirror 4 are led to photoelectric converter 5A to obtain picture signal c of the generalized color excepting the red. Signals b and c are then supplied to adder circuit 6 as well as subtractor circuit 7 to obtain picture signal d covering over the entire region and red picture signal e at the outputs of circuits 6 and 7 respectively. Then one side of signal d appears at terminal 17 of analog switch 10 via inverting circuit 9 and the other side appears at terminal 18 respectively through amplifier 8A. Then signal d turns to the control signal of switch 10. Here the terminal is selected to form ternary analog signal g comprising the plus, zero and minus each. The bias is applied to signal g to produce signal h, and amplitude modulation of two phases 0 and pi is carried out by ring modulator 13 and via the carrier of pulse generator 12. Thus signal i is obtained to be delivered.
