Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide titled film in which the rate of increase in the rewinding force is small even though the film is wound into a coil and then stored over a long period of time under high-temperature conditions, obtd. by a method wherein an adhesive layer is provided on one side of a film substrate produced from a resin compsn. consisting of a thermoplastic resin and a specified amount of a powdered inorg. material.
CONSTITUTION: 3W30pts.wt. of a powdered inorg. material (b) having an average particle diameter of 0.5W50μ (e.g. silicic acid, calcium carbonate, clay) is blended with 100pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin (a) (pref. a polyolefin having a melt index of 0.1W70 and a density of 0.91W0.965) to obtain a resin compsn. which is then molded into a film having a thickness of 0.01W0.2mm. The film is used as a substrate. An adhesive layer consisting mainly of a synthetic resin such as polyisobutylene rubber, acrylic resin is provided on one side of the film substrate to obtain the desired adhesive film for surface protection.
