Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to improve a curing rate without shortening the usable life of a curative solution, by dissolving urea in an acidic curative solution containing a dissolved ammonium salt or a metal salt which are acidic in an aqueous solution.
CONSTITUTION: 2W50pts.wt. of urea and/or a derivative thereof are dissolved in 100pts.wt. of an acidic, curative solution containing a dissolved ammonium salt or a metallic salt which is acidic in an aqueous solution. Examples of the ammonium salt and the metal salt which are used include ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, iron chloride, tin chloride and aluminum chloride. With respect to the amount of the urea or the derivative thereof, the use of more than 50pts.wt. results in poor curability and the use of less than 2pts.wt. can not provide a long usable life.
