Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible the even distribution of cleaning elements into liquid separating module groups by guiding and accumulating the ball cleaning elements fed into a case into the disc through-paths by a conical head, rotating the disc and distributing the elements through the case cover closing plate through-holes.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of cleaning tubular membrane modules, the cleaning elements (expressed as balls hereunder) in the ball storage B are fed into the case 1 of the distributing device through its inlet 11 by the flow of raw liquid as valves v1, v2 are opened and closed. These are then led into the respective through-paths 8 of the disc 6 of the thickness more than several times the ball diameter by a conical head 10. If at this time there is noncoincidence in the number of the balls having been lead-in, a difference occurs in the liquid flow resistances in the respective paths 8, by which the liquid flow in the diametral direction is produced at the circumference of the head 10 and the number of the balls is averaged. During this time, the flow of the raw fluid is sufficiently assured and the spacing 7 is made smaller than the ball diameter to prevent the run-off of the balls. Next, an operating shaft 4 is rotated by a handle 5 to align each path 8 to each through- hole 3 of the base plate 2 of the cover at the opening end of the case. Thereby, the balls are pressure-fed from the each communicating pipe P of the each hole 3 into each module D, whereby these may be evenly cleaned.
