Abstract

PURPOSE: To weaken electrostatic adhesion due to a friction belt and to feed an original smoothly, by also destaticizing the reverse side of a member for placing the original on it in the front position of movement of an optical scanning means.
CONSTITUTION: Optical mirror 4 is moved with driving source 16 through wire 17, and destaticizing means is moved in the direction of arrow A together with illumination lamp 5. Auxiliary destaticizing means 191, 192 with one end 181 rotatably mounted on the main body, and the other end 182 moving in direction A following the movement of the optical system rotate freely at the middle part 183 of both the ends. Accordingly, destaticization of the reverse side region of the original placing side of the original placing means in the front position of scanning region of the optical system can be made ahead of optical scanning.
