Abstract

PURPOSE: To adapt fuel supply for transient running by providing a passage opened or closed by an electromagnetic valve and a passage with a fuel rectifying controller in a fuel supply system for a carburetor and controlling the electromagnetic valve by a negative pressure switch.
CONSTITUTION: The carburetor 12 of an engine 29 and a fuel tank 11 are connected by a fuel pipe 1 with a pump 13. On this fuel pipe 1, an electromagnetic valve 2 and a fuel flow rectifying controller 3 in parallel with the electromagnetic valve 2 are arranged. The controller 3 has a freely adjustable valve 7 and fuel which enables constant running is supplied. Besides, a negative pressure switch 15 which detects the negative pressure in a suction pipe 9 and is turned on by the rapid fluctuation of negative pressure and an intermittently opened and closed switch 8 which repeats on and off at a certain time interval are connected to the electromagnetic valve in parallel, and they supply a constant quantity of fuel during ordinary running time and increase a necessary amount of fuel in transient running time.
