Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to judge the presence or absence of a key input with respect to the function impossible to immediately print in correspondence with the key input by driving a part of the ordinary typing actions with respect to the key input upon using the decimal tab function and centering function.

CONSTITUTION: Complication of a program is dissolved by rendering a part of the printing actions of ordinary function into a signal relative to presence or absence of a key input. Alternately, the presence or absence of the key input is judged by a buzzer sound or a display, and the consumable power is reduced as much as possible. Regarding the rotation of a type wheel 2, a hammer 4, an ink ribbon 3, and a platen 1 are fixed, and only a type wheel 2 is rotated so that a character corresponding to the key input comes to the hammer position. Regarding the up and down movement of the ink ribbon 3, the other parts are fixed, and only the ink ribbon 3 is moved up and down notched at every key input. Regarding the driving of the hammer 4, the notched portion 5 of the type wheel is fixed to the position of the hammer, as the ink ribbon 3 is in the descent state to fix the platen 1, thus the hammer is driven at every time of the key input.
