Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the using rate of material and also voltage characteristics of plate by a procedure in which a lead thin plate, etc., is subjected to an expanding process to form a meshed grid, a plate lug is projected in a right angled direction to the expanding directing of the meshed grid on nonprocessing portion, and they are integrally assembled. CONSTITUTION:A connected web-like lead or lead alloy thin plate, consisting of the web-like nonprocessing portion 3 at its central part and the meshed grid 1 subjected to an expanding process on its both sides, is formed. Then, in cutting the thin plate into a given width of grid, the plate lug 2 projecting in a right angled direction to the expanding direction of the grid is provided. Thus, the scraping loss of material can be lessened and also the voltage characteristics can be raised by widening the width of the plate lug.
