Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the strength of the plastic molded portion by inserting a commutator bar between projections on the inner surface of a molding tool, applying pressure in the longitudinal direction of the commutator bar, and compensating the length of the commutator bar so that it becomes the same length as that of the molding tool. CONSTITUTION:The required number of commutator bars 2 are inserted between projections 13 on the inner surface of a molding tool 1 from an indexing frame at the same time. Then, the molding tool 1 is moved to a main compressing frame 25. A press head 23 is lowered, and the length a of the portion of each commutator bar 2 that has not been compressed into the molding tool 1 yet, is completely compressed into the molding tool 1. In this case, the commutator bars 2 are compressed in the axial direction by the press head 23 and a step 27 of said main compressing frame 25 at the same time, thereby the length of each commutator bar 2 is made to be the same as the length L of the molding tool 1.
