Abstract
PURPOSE: To heighten distillating efficiency remarkably by a mechanism wherein a heating means is formed by a plurality of low frequency induction heating coils in the upper and lower directions while temperature detectors are provided, and the coils are controlled, in the titled apparatus applied to a chemical plant of food, medicine industry, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The inside of a tower 1 is evacuated to a fixed degree of vacuum by means of a vacuum pump, a liquid to be distilled slowly flows down on an inner surface of a heat transmission wall 3 by the working of a rotary blade 8a and agitating blades 8d by driving a motor 8b, and heated through the heat transmission wall 3 by means of low frequency induction heating coils 4a, 4b, 4c during the flowing- down, effective components are changed into vapor, condensed by means of a condenser 9 and obtained from a discharge port 10, and others are discarded from a discharge port 11. Coils 4a, 4b, 4c are controlled by signals from temperature regulators 6a, 6b, 6c while detecting each wall temperature by means of temperature detectors 5a, 5b, 5c during the said cycle. Thus, the yield of the effective components obtained from the liquid to be treated can be heightened.
