Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily position accurately a jig containing predetermined member when automatically assembling an electron gun structure by stopping and raising the jig through a hole for positioning at the jig.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of positioning holes 36 are formed at the lower portion of an electrode assembling jig 35 containing parts of an electron gun, and the jig 35 is conveyed on a conveyor 44. The jig is stopped by a stopper at machining position, positioning pins 62 are projected from both sides, and engaged with the holes 36. In this case, the pins 62 and 52 are located slightly higher than the holes 36. When the pins are engaged with the holes, the jigs are raised at a height α to make no contact with the slat 45 of the conveyor 44 to machine at an accurately positioning step.
