Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a foundation constructing method excellent in both dimensional precision and workability by a method wherein a groundsill unit is fitted and fixed between post footing units provided in plurality, and concrete is placed in a form after the groundsill unit is leveled.
CONSTITUTION: A footing post main body A comprising a post 2 set upright on a slab 1 is provided on its top face with an angular engagement piece B, to form a post footing unit C. Anchor bolts F are extended downward from a groundsill main body E provided with notches D at its both ends, and a bolt 8 is engaged with a nut 7 fitted at one end of the groundsill main body E, to provide a leg J capable of being adjusted in length and fixed as desired, thereby forcing a groundsill unit G. After placing a plurality of the post footing units C, a groundsill unit G is spanned between the post footing units C, the notches of the groundsill main body E are engaged with and fixed to the engagement pieces B of the post footing units C, the groundsill main body E is leveled by adjusting the legs J of the groundsill unit G, and then concrete is placed in a form.
