Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily carry out the correction of emission curves necessary for operation of an X-ray tube by using an operation device capable of finding a correction value from each mean value of the set value and errors of masuring values of tube electric current and voltage, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The emission curve (a) is stored in a storage unit 4 (its tube electric current value is mA1). Meanwhile, in case that mA2 is obtained from the curve (b), this mA2 is measured by a tube electric current measuring instrument and transmitted to an arithmetic unit 3 employing a microcomputer, etc. and the error DELTA1 between the set value mA1 and the measured value mA2 is obtainable. When this error exceeds a few percents of the set value, the measurement of errors is carried out on several points of each curve and an arithmetic mean value of these errors is calculated by the arithmetic unit 3. By making a parallel displacement of the standard, curve (a), the correction curve (b) is obtained. This is stored in a storage unit 5 as a correction coefficient of the curve (b) corresponding to the curve (a).
