Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the accurate and rapid measurement for distribution intensity of sound field and accurately grasp cleaning capacity by exposing the panel-form acoustic measuring element arrayed with plural pressure sensing parts in mosaic form into the sound field.
CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic cleaning machine W is provided with a cleaning tank 1, ultrasonic vibrator 3 and high-frequency oscillator 4. A panel-form acoustic measuring element P is sealed with the plural piezoelectric elements 11 which are arrayed in mosaic form in an insulation substrate 12 and is provided with the signal extracting wires 13 having the lead wires 13a, 13b connected to both side electrodes of the elements 11. When the measuring element P is dipped and held in such a manner as to become perpendicular to the liquid level in the cleaning liquid and the vibrator 3 is excited this state at the time of measuring the cleaning capacity, a sound field is formed in the cleaning liquid and the individual piezoelectric elements of the measuring elements P exposed in the sound field induce the charge corresponding to the sound pressure of the ultrasonic waves. By introducing the charge into a CRT, etc., the ultrasonic wave intensity and distribution state of the respective parts in the sound field may be accurately measured.
