Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate forming operation and shorten the operating time by using a sliding mold, which can be knocked down into plural sections, for forming thread section of a product to be formed.
CONSTITUTION: A mold face, 3 for forming an interior wall surface of an adjoining section 32 having a larger diameter than a tube fit-in section 31, and a mold face 4, for forming an interior wall surface of a body section 36 of a formed product 30, are provided on a top end section of a movable male mold 1 in contact with the mold face 2 for forming an interior wall surface of the tube fit-in section 31 of the formed product 30 and the tube fit-in section 31 of the product 30. A sliding mold 11 is installed in a free-to-slide position onto a female mold 10 provided with a mold face 13 for forming an exterior wall surface of the body section 36 of the formed product 30. The sliding mold 11 is designed capable of being divided into 2 sections, provided with respective finger pins 9 and installed onto the female mold 10 by being held by a sliding mold pressing plate 14 provided on the female mold 10. The sliding mold 11 is provided with a mold face 15 for forming a male thread section 33 of the formed product 30 and a mold face 16 for forming a flat section 34.
