Abstract

PURPOSE: The title composition preparing a molded article capable of preventing the lowering of antistatic effect caused by a hydrochloric acid absorber, obtained by adding a higher fatty acid to a polyolefin blended with a borate of a higher fatty acid monoglyceride and the hydrochloric acid absorber.
CONSTITUTION: 0.05W0.4pt.wt., preferably 0.10W0.30pt.wt. of a borate of a higher fatty acid monoglyceride and 0.01W1.0pt.wt., preferably 0.05W0.5pt.wt. of a higher fatty acid are added to 100pts.wt. of a polyolefin obtained by using a Ziegler type catalyst, blended with a metal salt of a higher fatty acid as a hydrochloric acid absorber, to give the desired composition. The addition of lauryl diethanolamine, etc. improves the antistatic effect.
