Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure the assured detection for the leak of the liquid metal, by linking the blower to the aerosol separator via the monitor tube and then providing with the leak detector and further the by-pass tube to the monitor tube.
CONSTITUTION: Blower 12 is started to circulate the atmospheric gas within housing room 2 in the route of room 2 → sucking tube 5 → aerosol separator 6 → monitor tube 7 → sodium detector 8 → flow rate control valve 10 → flowmeter 11 → monitor tube 7 → blower 12 → discharging tube 13 → room 2. At the same time, the atmospheric gas is circulated inthe route of aerosol separtor 6 → by-pass tube 14 → flow rate control valve 15 → flowmeter 16 → by-pass tube 14. Thus the leak of the sodium can be detected assuredly by sodium detector 8.
