Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize municipal waste and industrial waste as the raw materials for respectively suited applications, by sorting them by refuse properties and subjecting them to various treatments.
CONSTITUTION: Municipal waste is charged into a rough sorter, and separated into dry refuse, wet refuse, metals, cloth chips, and miscellaneous waste through dry crushing, impacting, centrifugal process and air blow actions. Then, dry refuse such as papers and synthetic resin is blown off, and sand and dust are separated off by cleaning, and the residue is cut into small chips by fine cutting equipment. The papers are opened in fibers by impact action, and the synthetic resins not passing through underwater vibratory sieve are sorted out, and the fibers having passed the sieve are dehydrated and regenerated into pulp material, and the synthetic resins are separated by the specific gravity groups to be used as the raw materials for moldings. On the other hand, the wet refuse is magnetically sorted, crushed, and divided into domestic waste, papers, and others by air blow action to as to be used, after fermentation, as the material of powder fertilizer.
