Abstract

PURPOSE:To position a cathode-ray tube accurately, by fixedly supporting a plurality of panels which are fixed while using as its base a neck-position setting portion and by movably supporting a funnel, whose neck tube is positioned at the neck-position setting portion, in a plane perpendicular to the neck tube. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 22 is fixed slightly aslant to a supporting frame 21. On the base plate 22 is movably placed a support 24 through steel balls 23. The support 24 defines the insertion opening and an elastic ring is fit within an upper portion of the insertion opening. The conical portion 4 of a funnel 7 is supported by the elastic ring. A fixing part 27 is fixedly secured to the lower surface of the base plate 22 and chucks 32, 33 are rotatably provided. A supporting frame 46 is fixed to the upper surface of the base plate 22 through supporting parts 45, and brackets 47 are fixed to the upper portion of the supporting frame 46 at three locations.
