Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a fixed enzyme capable of being used continuously or repeatedly with ease and to enable the effective use of the enzyme in its reaction, by feeding a fixation reagent from a gas phase to an enzyme, followed by fixation reaction.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of the fixation carrier 1 with uneveness is covered previously with enzyme or the enzyme-containing layer 2, to which a fixation reagent consisting of an aldehyde or its polymer is fed so that the fixation reaction is carried out. For example, glutaraldehyde, 2-oxyadip-aldehyde, propion-aldehyde, etc., capable of being fed in a gareous state, may be used as the fixation reagent.
