Abstract
PURPOSE:To reject noise without deteriorating video quality, by using the regularity of signal spectrum arrangement of each component, detecting pulsive noise of non- period, and concealing the video signal in missing with the video signal of strong corelativity. CONSTITUTION:The color video signal mixed with pulsive noise from an input terminal 1 is written in one fraem memory 2' via one horizontal scanning H delay circuit 7 after digitalization. Further, the one frame delay video signal from the memory 2' and the video signal not delayed from an A/D converter 6 are fed to a subtraction circuit 3 for subtraction. Accordingly, when noise is mixed with the input color video signal, the write-in of the video signal mixed with pulsive noise from the 1H delay circuit 7 is inhibited, and the video signal not mixed with noise before one frame is stored as it is and replaced. If no noise is mixed, the signal is written in the one frame memory 2' as it is.
