Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the resolution of the sensor, by making the sensor part opposite to the subject, providing the reflector vertically to the subject and then projecting the direct image of the subject to one unit along with the reflected image of the subject projected to the other unit each. CONSTITUTION:Two unit parts Ua and Ub of the CCD sensors of TDI (Time Delay Intergation) type which are arranged in parallel onto the semiconductor substrate are made to oppose to each other. And buffer amplifiers Ga and Gb are connected to output terminals 3a and 3b of serial parts Sa and Sb each, and these output ends are connected in common. These parts Sa and Sb are provided between the extended lines of light receiving windows 111a-120a and 111b-120b of parallel parts Pa and Pb each, thus forming the CCD sensor. This sensor is then put to oppose to the subject and at the same time located vertically to the reflector. Then the direct image of the subject is projected onto one of unit parts Ua and Ub; and the reflected image of the subject is projected onto the other unit part respectively. As a result, the resolution of the sensor is increased double, and thus the pattern accuracy can be reduced down to 1/2 to realize the same resolution.
