Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible photographing by the combination of shutter speeds and aperture values without wavering in the selection of exposure modes by manually selecting the aperture value-exposure time characteristic system for program shutter photographing.
CONSTITUTION: Various combinations of aperture value Av, shutter second time V, etc. corresponding to photometry are linearly changed according to photometric exposure value Ev by aperture value-exposure time characteristics straight lines β1, β2... and measuring exposure value Ev straight lines intersecting obliquely with these. The selection of these straight lines β1... is manually accomplished according to the setting of a potentiometer 18 by a program selection dial 20, whereby the optimum aperture value Av and shutter second time Tv based on the photometric exposure value Ev by way of a variable resistance 9 which is so set as to correspond to the full aperture value in cooperation to an iris 2 according to the lens 1 are operated and determined. Hence, the photographing by the combination of the shutter speeds and aperture values corresponding to a desired program may be performed without wavering in the selection of exposure modes.
