Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a simple system capable of controlling the ignition point effectively, by determining the most advanced ignition point on the basis of high- speed, full-load operation of engine, fixing the most advanced ignition point and a least advanced ignition point determined on the basis of low-speed operation, and varying the circuit constant for the control of the region where ignition point is advance with the engine speed.
CONSTITUTION: Pulsers 2, 3 for detecting the most advanced ignition point and the least advanced ignition point are mounted on a rotor which is connected directly to crank shaft. When output A of pulser 2 and output B of pulser 3 are furnished respectively to terminals S, R of FF5, FF5 gives signal C to gate circuit 4 and triangular-wave circuits 6, 7. Thereupon, circuits 4, 6, 7 produce signals F, D, E, respectively, and signals F, D produced by circuits 4, 6 are added in adder circuit 8 as shown at portion a of signal G. The portion a of signal G receives signal E in comparison circuit 9, which in turn produces ignition pulses shown at H in the drawing.
