Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the apparatus smaller and its maintenance work more efficient by utilizing the spacing above the horizontally placed cathode ray tube as a space for housing electrical parts and forming its spacing member into an opening system.
CONSTITUTION: A destaticizing-charging charger 2, cathode ray tube 3, developing device 4, transfer charger 5, cleaning device 6 and fixing device 7 are disposed around a photosensitive drum 1 and further an electrical unit 8 covers the entire face above the cathode ray tube 3. The unit 8 is integrated with sequence control members, electric power source and cathode ray tube driving circuit and is pivotally mounted turnably upward about the shaft 10 which is provided closer to the side wall 9 of the recorder body and serves also as an insertion pipe for conductors. The latch 11 protruding from the unit 8 is fixed to the screw 12 on the body side. If the unit 8 is turned by loosening this screw 12 and a detention fitting 13 is engaged with an engaging hole 14, a large opening is formed above the tube 3 and the mounting and dismounting of the pipe 3 may be accomplished.
