Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the continuity of slippage and improve the operability by switching to the full wheel driving through detection of the slippage of the drive wheel depending on the drive condition of the wheels other than the front steering drive wheel.
CONSTITUTION: The detection value from the revolutions detector 27 for one front wheel is inputted to a corrector 28 for the diameter ratio of the front and rear wheels. In addition, the comparator 29 compares the value with the detection value from the detector 26. Based on the drop in the rotational frequency of the rear wheels thus obtained, the slippage on the ground of the drive wheels 8 and 8 is detected in the first condition to be compared with the signal from an allowable slippage rate setting device 30 by means of a comparator. As a result, when the slippage rate exceeding the set value is detected, the signal is inputted to the control unit 33 of the clutch 20 through the flip flop generator 32 whereby switching is automatically made to the second condition while the condition is maintained until it is reset. In this manner, the continuity of the slippage is prevented thereby improving the maneuverability of the vehicle.
