Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of processes reqyired for the matching work in assembling, by providing a notch part, which runs from the external of a waveguide to the internal, on the tube wall of the waveguide and by using a part of it as a waveguide path and by connecting directly the reflecting material and the flange through the rest of it. CONSTITUTION:Notch part 20 is provided at the end part of one plane of waveguide 1'. Meanwhile, reflecting material 2' has the lower part extended by thickness (t) of the wall of waveguide 1', and reflecting material 2' is so stored and arranged at the end part of waveguide 1' that reflecting face 5 may correspond to waveguide hole forming part 22 which is a part of notch part 20. Material 2' is fixed to flange 3 by welding, adhesive, and so on. Then, end face 21 of waveguide 1' and another face 26 of waveguide hole 5 provided in flange 3 are matched to each other accurately, and material 2' and flange 3 are fixed to waveguide 1' by welding, adhesive, and so on.
