Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure the sharpness of contours among patterns by a method wherein a screen every each color is formed in size slightly larger than fixed patterns and flocks are planted in overlapping shapes.
CONSTITUTION: This method is of a process A, in which adhesives are applied on the surface of a substrate material and an adhesive layer is formed, a process B, in which fiber flocks with the first color are electrostatically planted through screens in response to the first color patterns to be executed, a process C, in which fiber flocks with the second and subsequent colors are electrostatically planted through screens in response to the second and subsequent color patterns, and a process D, in which the substrate material to which flocks are planted is heat-treated and flocks planted are fixed onto the substrate material. Each flock is overlapped at the intervals of 0.1W1mm and electrostatically planted in contour portions among flocking patterns, whose colors differ. Thus, the formation of clearances is prevented without losing the sharpness of contours among the patterns, and a multicolored flocked sheet with the strong patterns can be produced.
