Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a durability of the condenser against the hydraulic pressure by a method wherein an expansion joint is directly or indirectly arranged in the hot water tank in the condenser and at the same time a load acting against the hot water tank is supported by a connected holder member.
CONSTITUTION: Main body of the condenser 3 is fixed to the base block 1 of the building 2 and an extruacted vapor supply pipe 5 is arranged at the top part of the main body 3. In the main body 3, a number of cooling pipes 9 are arranged between the supporting plates 7 and 8 side-by-side. Expansion joint 10 is arranged at the opening 3a of the main body 3 where the supporting plate 8 is positioned. Hot water tank 15 is arranged outside the supporting plate 8, the hot water outlet 16 is connected to the tank. To the outlet port 16 is connected a coupling pipe 17 having the expansion joint 18 therein. To the coupling pipe 17 is connected a curved discharge pipe 19, a connecting holder member 20 is installed between the curved discharge pipe 19 and the wall surface 2a of the building 2 to support a load acting on the tank 15.
