Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the cell lifted up due to shock and to make easy the replacement of cell, by inserting one end of cell retainer to a part of the watch movement.
CONSTITUTION: The retainer 2b is provided at the member 2 constituting a part of the movement near the cell of the watch movement 2A mounting the cell 1. Further, the fitting section 3a is provided at one end of the cell retaining member 3 in common use with the terminal plate of + electrode of the cell 1, it is fixed to the movement 2A with the screw 4, and the side surface along the side wall of the cell 1 from the fitting section 3a is depressed with a pair of elastic sections 3c, 3d, which are unifiedly formed with the cell lift up retainer 3b formed at the tip of the elastic section 3c. This prevents the lift up of cell due to shock at carrying, and the cell replacement can easily be made without removing the cell retaining member fixed screw.
