Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a stable plated surface free from peeling and rusting, by sealing the porous sintered alloy with resin impregnation, and electrolessplating, then finishing with electroplating.
CONSTITUTION: After sealing a porous sintered alloy with, for example, thermoset resin, the resin deposited on the surface of this alloy is removed by slicing or other means. The cleaned surface is first electrolessplated to form continuous film of conductive metal which chemically deposits and grows to overlap with each other, and is finished by electroplating, so that a stable plated surface free from peeling or rusting may be obtained.
