Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A top band 1a is welded at a weld zone 8a to the tank body 1 made of iron for which airtightness is required. Next, a sealing seat 11 provided with a hole 11a is contacted and welded 8 between the faying surfaces of the tank 1 and top band 1a. In this way, the faying surfaces of the tank 1 and top band 1a are communicated with the outside through the hole 11a of the sealing seat 11, Next, soap water is coated on the weld zones 8, 8a, after which a hose 10 is connected to the hole 11a and compressed air is force-fed.
