Abstract

PURPOSE: To make uniform the supply pressure of coating metal on the circumference of core member and coat in equal thickness, by providing bridges to link the extrusion die front circumference of friction driving type extruder with the hollow mandrel end circumference for inserting core member, in plural positions, and varying the size of each bridge section.
CONSTITUTION: Three bridges 23, 24, 25 are provided in three positions between the front circumference of an extrusion die 22 and the end circumference of a hollow mandrel 21 to link and secure them together. Each bridge keeps an angle of 120 degrees, and the size of the section is the largest in the bridge 23 on the supply side (arrow 20 side) of the coating metal 19, and the other two bridges have the same smaller area of section. When these die blocks are used, the coating metal 19 sent in from part A to part B is controlled in the flow speed by the bridges, and then reaches the circumference of core member 7 in part C.
