Abstract
PURPOSE: To strengthen air-tightness at the pressing surface and lower the accuracy of finishing works, by providing seal spring plate around the circumference of the slide damper blade, and installing an apparatus which heightens the pressing force of the said seal spring plate against the frame.
CONSTITUTION: Blade 2 which interrupts the gas flow is driven by the reduction motor 8, and is moved upward and downward thru the transmission shaft 7, bevel gear 6, lifting spring 5, girder 4 and rod 3. At the circumference of the blade 2, seal spring plate 10 is attached by the press board 12 and bolt-mut 13, and presses against the contact surface of the frame 1. At the inner side of the seal spring plate 10, spring 11 made of thin plate is provided, which strengthen the pressing force against the contact surface of the frame 1 and the air-tightness. Under this constitution, higher air-tightness is obtained even the finishing accuracy of the seal spring plate 10 and the frame 1 is lowered in their finishing works.
